5 Sentence Fiction: Words.

This is a 5 sentence challenge from a blog entitled Lillie McFerrin Writes. The prompt this week was “Words”

“Talk to me, why won’t you talk to me?” Lucy asked in an exasperated voice.

She came to this park everyday and he was always there smiling, but never saying anything.

She was sure he liked her; he was always trying to get her attention with his silly antics.

Whenever she would say hi, he would just wave and smile, was he deaf?

Lucy shook her head and walked away, he pulled out a handkerchief and dabbed at his eyes and then proceeded to walk away without actually going anywhere.
