I Have Changed My Theme, Again!

Yep, I did it, I changed the blog’s look again!

In my defense, this is the first time I feel in love at first sight!

Why? I don’t know?

Is it because I tend to see life in black& white, right or wrong, do it my way or die kind of way?

Nah, I just thought it looked real cool!

So, let me know is this a cool theme or what!?

Do you constantly change things  or do you like to stick with the same?

  1. This does look cool, Rachael.

Me, I am constantly changing things, too. I’m beginning to think I’m just not normal. First, i kept changing my name… from my real name of Lynda, to Elaina, then Michaela, then Alainn, back to Elaina, a brief run as Rachel Smtih, then I became Lady Quixote, which I really like, so I’ve stuck with that the longest. But just today, I’m back once again to Lynda… with a side order of Lady Q.

And that’s not all. I’ve had several blog/domain names, too. It’s getting really ridiculous. I will spare you the list of all my blog/domain names. Besides, I don’t remember them all. One time — a few hours ago — I started a blog called “I Write to Keep My Head From Exploding.” I paid the whole $26 and everything. I was so excited to see that no one else had registered that domain.

But after about an hour or so, I decided it was a really stupid name. So I cancelled, and asked for a refund. Which I got. Along with the warning that no one will ever be able to use that stupid blog domain name again. So sorry, fellow bloggers!

If I didn’t know better, I would think I must be personality disordered. But I’m not. I know this, because my psychiatrist told me so.

My great-grandson STILL hasn’t been born yet, and I’m about to swallow my tongue. I’m distracting myself from my nervous tension by trying to come up with more briliiant name and blog domain ideas. That, and checking in with you. Hmmm… with this white chalk on a black board theme, I can’t tell if I’ve mis-spelled anything here. Super cool!

    1. You could write up a blog post with the list of all your brilliant names and blog domain ideas.
Swallowing your tongue would not be good!
A little upset- “I Write to Keep My Head From Exploding.” was the name I was thinking of using! 😉

      1. Dang! I guess I should have kept that domain. I could have auctioned it off to the highest bidder. There’s probably a long line of people who would pay a huge amount of money for “I Write to Keep My Head From Exploding.”

When you cancel a domain, they ask for a reason. There was drop down list of reasons, with things like “I spelled it wrong,” or “I meant to get the free one.” There wasn’t anything on the drop down menu about it being a stupid name, though, so I clicked on “other.” Then a new box opened up and asked me to explain the “other.” So I put “I am an old lady and my granddaughter is giving birth to my first great-grandchild right now and I am so nervous I can’t think straight, and now I think this is a stupid domain name.” So then they told me they would refund my money. I guess they liked that answer.

God I am so nervous!!! Ooops, sorry God, and Rachael, I don’t mean to swear. That was a prayer. Really.

      2. Uh-oh, now you’re being too nice. Like you’re trying to calm me down. Like you think I’m crazy. I’m not crazy, really! Ok, maybe I am a little crazy. But I’m harmless, so long as I take my medication.

      3. He’s here! I was so overcome with love and joy when I got the picture of my granddaughter holding my great-grandson on my husband’s smart phone, that I kissed the picture – which made the touch screen go all weird. But I just couldn’t help myself!

  2. Oh Rachael, I love it. It IS cool. I like to “redecorate” also. I chose a blog that I can change the cover photo when I want. I’m always changing the photo. We are creative people, Rachael; that’s why we like change. It makes us interesting. 🙂 Oh….and I like the font also.

  3. You’re welcome, Lynda. Seriously, we are creative. We don’t settle for the “norm”, we go beyond to make life interesting. We need more intellectual simulation than the average person. Therefore, we are constantly creating, devising new ways, and reinventing ourselves. We are always searching further to find out what’s there. This is the truth. I see it as an adventure, not craziness. Scientist, for example, do not accept the norm. They know there’s something more to be understood. We are constantly using our minds, not only to make ourselves a better person, but to make the world a better place. People who accept the norm are missing out. I prefer to be adventurous. 🙂

  4. I don’t change mine very often because I just don’t want to mess with it, but I love this look on yours.
