A Holiday worth celebrating?

Another day of pathetic unimportaness.  ( Is so a real word)

I suppose most days are like that for most people.

Just mundane average run of the mill happenings.

That is why there are so many special days like today which is: Cheer up the Lonely Day or

World Population Day depending on who you ask.

There is no law that  says you could not celebrate both.

The first one focus on cheering up someone lonely -so you can all do your part and leave a comment for my lonely blog, okay?   OKAY?

The second day is a little more bizarre if not a little bit more official.

According to the link above: “World Population Day focuses upon people under 25, reproductive issues, and health. This day is sponsored by the United Nations World Population Fund (UNFPA).- –According to the UNFPA website, the focus of this day is upon people under 25 and those at reproductive age. This day seeks to provide education and awareness to reproductive health, reproductive choice, family planning, and to provide a better future for young people.”

In this day in age is there anyone under 25 who does not know about contraceptives?

I wonder about the “people under 25 and those at reproductive age”-what exact age group are we talking about here?

There is a pretty broad range for anyone from about 12-50 depending on many differing factors who can breed.

Maybe that is were the education comes in?

Old people still have sex? – Who knew?

Your future it seems will be much better if you know how to breed-can’t leave it to those 25 year old persons to know anything!

I was married at 22 had my first child at 23 and my second at 24 – It really did not take all that much education.

A very weird holiday …but one that would be interesting to celebrate.
